Hi!
My name is Elana Gabrielle and I’m an illustrator, maker, and designer of printed textile and paper goods for the body and home.
I spent my childhood outdoors in Northern California collecting seashells, building backyard fairy houses, and making toys out of found treasures. My work is deeply inspired by the natural world, from foggy beaches to dusty desert valleys. My handmade goods mirror the environment by focusing on form and function, using sustainable practices and natural fibers, dyes, and inks.
I currently live and work in Portland, OR (Chinook + Multnomah + Clackamas land), and when I’m not in my studio, you’ll most often find me cooking up some herbal recipes in the kitchen, tending to my tiny garden, or out trying to find the sun!
I also love collaborating and have had the pleasure of working on some wonderful projects with people including Crate & Barrel, Roost Books, Penguin Randomhouse, Olipop, Thunderpants, and more.
SUSTAINABILITY
I aim to do my absolute best to reduce my footprint and use sustainable and renewable resources whenever and wherever possible. All of my products are multifunctional and meant to last so that nothing goes to waste. I use earth-friendly dyes and inks on 100% natural fiber textiles, and renewable/recyclable materials whenever possible.
I use hemp and recycled cotton fibers rescued from fashion industry landfills for all of my paper goods, and both my textiles and paper products are printed right in my neighborhood to keep production as local as possible.
All of my orders are shipped with 100% plastic-free materials - I use recyclable boxes, packing paper, and paper tape, as well as biodegradable clear packing tape to ensure safe delivery for the orders and the earth.
Thank you so much for your support!
